With over 20 business meetings, InvestChile concluded its participation in the 42nd edition of Saudi Agriculture 2025, the region’s most important B2B event for agricultural technology, innovation, and sustainable solutions.
The InvestChile delegation, led by Francisco Picón, Investment Commissioner for the Gulf Region, and Mauricio Camus, Agri-Food Sector Lead, held an intensive schedule of meetings aimed at promoting investment opportunities in Chile’s agri-food sector and strengthening bilateral cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
On the first day, the InvestChile team held a productive meeting in Riyadh with Tilad Environmental, part of Tilad Group. The meeting was attended by Cristóbal Cobo (Head of the Aquatic Department), Franco Alfredo Cerda Dubó (Aquatic Sustainability Consultant), Badr Al-Muhaidib (General Legal Advisor), and Abdullah Wadi (Director of Client Relations and Business Development).
The discussion focused on new areas of foreign direct investment (FDI) cooperation between Chile and Saudi Arabia, particularly in environmental management, recycling, water sustainability, and sustainable agribusiness, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and Chile’s green transition.
On the second day, the Chilean delegation participated in several bilateral meetings with leading agri-food companies, including ARASCO (one of the 100 largest companies in Saudi Arabia), as well as SYMAGA, Massó, ABN, ALRAYA, Cravo, RAPCO, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, and SALIC, among others.
In addition, Francisco Picón and Mauricio Camus, together with Guillermo Bittelman Adriasola, Chile’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, met with H.E. Nasser Abuhaimed, Secretary General of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
The meeting aimed to strengthen institutional collaboration and highlight Chile’s potential as a strategic destination for foreign investment, particularly in the agribusiness, energy, and sustainable infrastructure sectors.
This mission was supported by the Embassy of Chile in Saudi Arabia and Ambassador Guillermo Bittelman Adriasola, reaffirming the joint commitment to strengthening economic ties between both countries, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and Chile’s leadership in sustainability and innovation.
InvestChile’s participation in Saudi Agriculture 2025 reinforces Chile’s investment promotion strategy in the Middle East, focused on attracting sustainable projects, forging technological partnerships, and opening new channels for cooperation with leading companies in the global agri-food sector.
