The Regional Government of Biobío, in partnership with the Embassy of Norway, the Embassy of Denmark, the Regional Corporation Desarrolla Biobío, and InvestChile, is organizing the event “Offshore Wind Energy: An Opportunity for a Just Transition and Economic Growth for the Biobío Region.”

The event aims to showcase the Nordic experience in developing the offshore wind industry and the opportunities this sector offers for Chile, particularly for the Biobío Region.

The meeting will foster a space for dialogue and analysis on the challenges of strengthening the local value chain within the framework of the energy transition, highlighting the advantages of the regional ecosystem to drive this industry, based on the experiences of Norway and Denmark.

The event will take place on November 6 at 3:00 p.m. in Concepción, Chile.
