The First Texas A&M Critical Minerals Program Conference, organized by the George Bush School of Government & Public Service, will take place on October 22, 2025, in Washington, D.C.
This event will bring together experts from the public and private sectors, as well as academia, to discuss the key role that critical minerals—such as lithium, copper, cobalt, nickel, and graphite—play in national and international energy security. These minerals are essential for strategic technologies including electric vehicles, military equipment, solar energy, and energy storage.
With the support of the Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs and the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M, this conference will serve as a starting point for future editions focused on trade, technology, investment, ethics, and ESG standards.
On this occasion, InvestChile is participating as a sponsor of the event.
